There are many clients who need to have documents scanned who do not have an in-house document imaging system. This is the case with the vast majority of our scanning clients. For these clients, we can scan the documents, organize them as requested, and then copy the images onto CD media. The CDs are useable with any standard Windows PC. Each CD is a fully self-contained unit and can be used anywhere on any Windows PC. The files on the CD can be in either TIF file format or in PDF file format. You can also choose between single images and multi-page files. A standard CD will hold roughly 12,000 pages, depending upon how the documents were scanned. That is basically the equivalent of a 5 drawer filing cabinet, right in your hand.

Scan to Media

Works very well for information that will not be changing frequently. Some clients have put their entire sales catalog, for example, on CD media and have given a copy to all of their sales reps. Other clients have scanned in copies of engineering drawings and leases for their various properties. When a field rep needs information, they can just drop the CD in and have immediate access to all of the documents relating to a particular property. There are many other examples of how storing documentation on digital media can be beneficial.
