Scanning
Data Storage has high-speed production capability to scan documents into digital form (electronic copies complete with signatures and the finest details). We can scan and output to a variety of formats including, PDF, TIFF, JPEG, BMP, GIF. Many more document formats are available as well. We deliver the digital documents to you via encrypted ftp, CD or DVD.
Indexing
Once the images have been captured it is essential to assign index fields (Name, Date, Customer Number, etc.) to your specifications. Data Storage has the capability to employ manual data entry or the industry leading optical character recognition (OCR) to tag your images with keyword infomation. Indexing is necessary to insure the images can be located in storage.
Optical Character Recognition (OCR)
After the paper is scanned into a digital image, Data Storage can go a step further and convert the information on the page into searchable text, using Optical Character Recognition (OCR). The contents of the document can then be searched or transferred into a word processing application, a spreadsheet application, or into HTML format. With OCR, you can perform searches using a single word or phrase, or choose from even more powerful advanced search options.
CD/DVD Production
Data Storage will burn your files onto a CD/DVD along with a document viewer and powerful search engine and delivered back to you with your documents. No need to buy expensive software to manage or view your documents.
Web Access
Access your documents via our secure web server in real time. As soon as they are indexed they are available to you online.
