Affordable, easy-to-use backup for multi-user and server environments
This Quick Start Guide takes you through the basics of installing and configuring the client, as well as backing up and restoring your data. For more detailed information about these processes, see the MozyPro User Guide for Windows.
Installation
- Download the MozyPro software from https://mozy.com/pro/download.
- Select the Windows version to download.
- Double-click the downloaded installation file.
- Click Install to start copying the MozyPro program files.
- Select Next on the Welcome screen
- Sign in to your MozyPro account
a. License Key: Type or copy the license key that you received in the email. If you do not have a license key, contact your administrator.
b. Email Address: Type the email address used to set up your account.
- Click Next, enter your full name and create a password for this account.
- Click Next to scan for files to back up.You’ll need to deselect some file types if the default backup settings exceed your storage limit.
- If you would like to use a personal encryption key, click Change Encryption.
- Click Next.
- Click Finish.
- Congratulations! MozyPro is installed, and your first backup is now starting.
Important things to know about your online backup:
- Your first backup might take a while depending on the amount of data and the speed of your Internet connection
- Reset account passwords
- Change account status
