Affordable, easy-to-use backup for multi-user and server environments
This Quick Start guides you through the basics of installing and configuring the client, as well as backing up and restoring your data. For more detailed information about these processes, see the MozyPro User Guide for Mac.

Installation
- Download the MozyPro software from https://mozy.com/pro/download.
- Select the MozyPro Mac version to download.
- Double-click the downloaded installation file.
- Double-click the Mozy Installer.pkg file to start the installation, then click Continue.
- Click Continue again, read and accept the License Agreement, then click Continue.
- Change the install destination (Optional), then click Install.
- Enter your administrator username and password. Click OK.
- Once the installation is complete, click Close to launch the Setup Assistant.
- Type your license key and email address in the appropriate fields, then click Next.
- Type your name and a password, confirm the password by typing it again, then click Next.
- Select your encryption method, then click Next.
- Select the data you want to back up, then click Save Configuration. This can be changed later.
- Click the MozyPro icon in the menu bar, then select Preferences .
- Configure your general settings, schedule your backups, and set your bandwidth throttling.
- Close the window when finished, and your changes are saved automatically.
- Click the MozyPro icon in the menu bar and select Status.
- Click Start Backup to start a backup.
